recipe: baked peaches with goat cheese
I. Love. Dessert. Cakes, cookies, brownies, ice cream, anything! But all these good things are not very healthy for you (though they taste soooo delicious). So, to satisfy my sweet tooth, I made these to eat after dinner one night this week after a friend’s suggestion. Mmmmmmm.
Baked Peaches with Goat Cheese
– 2 ripe peaches, seed removed & sliced in half
– small tub of goat cheese
– chopped walnuts
– uncooked oats
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put about 1 tbsp of goat cheese on each peach half, then sprinkle about 1 tsp of uncooked oats on all the peaches. Add the chopped walnuts to each peach, then drizzle with as much or as little honey as you’d like.
2. Place the peaches on a cookie sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes (make sure the walnuts don’t burn).
3. What else? Relax and enjoy these scrumptious peaches!
